The Winter’s Tale by William Shakespeare
Director, Suba Das from theatre company
Custom/Practice
in association with The Old Vic Tunnels will be performing
The Winter’s Tale by William Shakespeare
, a 90 minute winter wonderland promenade at London Wildlife Trust’s
Camley Street Natural Park
from 5th to 22nd December.
The show will be performed as a promenade across Camley Street Natural Park. Audiences will be led from a reception at Leontes and Hermiones’ country estate; to the public circus of Hermione’s trial; to a meadow-land bonfire-lit Bohemia; and, via Florizel and Perdita’s flight by riverboat, to a magical finale over the reserve’s lake.
Condensed to just one hour of text and with mulled wine, heaters, indoor sequences and cover to keep audiences cosy throughout, this will be a beautiful, high quality experience for both seasoned theatre-goers and audiences new to Shakespeare.
Doors open at 7pm on weekdays and 3.30pm on weekends.
Tickets cost £18 (£14 concessions) or £50 for a family ticket.
To book please call the Old Vic Tunnels Box Office on
0844 871 7628
, or visit their website –
www.oldvictunnels.com
or visit in person at The Old Vic Theatre, 103 The Cut, SE1 8NB
