Join us a foray into the weird and wonderful world of fungi.

We will lead a tour and introduce visitors the various fungi that can be found in Stambourne Wood and Beaulieu Heuights, fragments of an ancient landscape of woodland and wooded commons that once covered the high ground between Deptford, Streatham and Selhurst.

This large woodland, known as the Great North Wood, gave rise to the names of local districts such as Norwood, Forest Hill and Penge among others.

This event is offered free as part of the Great North Wood project. Please book a place by contacting Sam at sbtoon@wildlondon.org.uk.
