The Water for Wildlife team are training volunteers in how to identify 33 London dragonfly and damselfly species. The presence of dragonfly species indicates good water quality, so knowing where they live is very useful.

At this session you will be shown how to identify different dragonflies in the classroom, then take part in a survey along the River Ingrebourne to see what we can find.

No experience needed, just enthusiasm! This is a free event and suitable for adults.

Booking is required. If you would like to join us, please email Jane at jclarke@wildlondon.org.uk or call 078375 76786.

We'd love to see you there!

With thanks to the Roding, Beam and Ingrebourne Catchment Partnership for funding this event, and Essex Wildlife Trust for use of the visitor centre.
