A fun family event to mark the launch of our Explosive Histories exhibition at the Shot Tower.

Join us as we celebrate Crane Park's explosive past!

This is a great family event that helps commemorate the work of the Hounslow Gunpowder Mills during the First World War.

We will be opening a new exhibition about the work of the mills. Children's activities include willow lantern making - followed by a night walk!

Find out about herbal remedies during the First World War with herbalist Janine Gerhard, and join George and Henry, gunpowder makers to factory owners Curtis's and Harvey, for a guided walk and surprise performance!

Pop-up cafe selling teas, coffee and soft drinks cakes, with hot food from 5pm.

We will also be selling copies of an interactive DVD about the history of Crane Park, told through stories of those that lived and worked there.

Everyone welcome, no need to book.
