3 days per week (flexible).This will consist of 2 days at the Central Office in Southwark and 1 day at Camley Street Natural Park in King’s Cross.
9.30am to 5.30pm days by arrangement. Occasional evening and weekend work will occasionally be necessary for which time off in lieu is given.
Expenses paid
3/4 months (minimum) 6 months maximum.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience into volunteer management and support as well as gaining an insight into the operations of a nature conservation charity.
Day to day work will be varied and will provide the intern with many learning opportunities. Main duties will include assisting the People and Wildlife Projects Manager to manage day-to-day volunteer enquiries, ensure up-to-date information is held about our active volunteers and that these volunteers are encouraged and supported. This will require good record keeping and data management in paper and electronic systems.
We are looking for a reliable person with the ability to communicate well with a variety of people from different backgrounds, with an interest in learning how the Trust engages and develops volunteers.
