Event details

Sun, 13/12/2015 - 11:00am - 1:30pm

A local expert will provide guidance on how to identify trees without relying on leaves and fruit.

Identifying trees in the winter can seem daunting when there are no leaves or fruit to help. However, buds, twigs and bark can all help towards making successful identifications, even in the winter. A local expert will lead this walk and talk in Gunnersbury Triangle Nature Reserve explaining what to look for and how to separate oaks from cherries and birches from ash.

This is a free event. Donations are welcome.

Meet at the entrance of Gunnersbury Triangle Nature Reserve (opposite Chiswick Park underground station).
