A talk and Q&A on woodlands and their use and management; past, present, future.

The talk at Oak Farm Library as part of London Tree Week will be given by Andy Willmore, a regional development manager for London Wildlife Trust. It will be accompanied by a visual presentation giving an introduction to some of the typical trees that can be found in London and Hillingdon in particular.

Woodlands will be looked at in terms of their historic value, traditional management and their value to us today as a haven for wildlife, a place for learning, and a place for recreation. The talk will be followed by a Q&A.
