Explore the wildlife of Oak Hill Wood as part of London National Park City Week

Visit our delightful Oak Hill Wood Nature Reserve, an ancient woodland, for a guided wildlife walk. It is a 10-hectare Nature Reserve and a Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation Grade I. The site supports a beautiful woodland of hornbeam, oak and ash, established on the slopes of a valley.

There are many breeding birds such as lesser spotted woodpecker, treecreeper, sparrowhawk and tawny owl.

Join Karolina Leszczynska-Gogol (Projects Officer) for a walk through the woodland.

Supported by the Mayor of London

This event is part of London National Park City Week, when there’ll be over 270 fantastic events and activities celebrating London’s unique green spaces, trees, waterways and natural environment.
