Join us for a free, nature themed storry-telling event run by London Wildlife Trust during the summer holidays at Woodberry Wetlands.

This year was the 50th anniversary of the Hungry Caterpillar and author Eric Carle’s 90th birthday!

To celebrate Carle’s amazing books, our Nature Storytime this summer holiday will be based around a different one of his nature inspired stories each week.

We’ll read stories about caterpillars, spiders, crickets, followed by a craft activity based on the book we’ve read.

This is a free, nature-themed story-telling event for children aged between two and six-years-old on Thursdays in the summer holidays at Woodberry Wetlands from 11.00am-12.00pm.

Thursdays: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th August

All welcome, no need to book. Arrive 5 mins before the start of the session so as not to miss any of the story. Meet on the lawn outside the Coal House Cafe. If the weather is wet the session will be held inside the cafe. Wear clothes for messy play.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
