Nature crafts at Woodberry Wetlands - photo Abi March

Event details

Wed, 31/07/2019 - 1:30pm - 3:00pm

Join us for a free, wild workshop run by London Wildlife Trust during the summer holidays at Woodberry Wetlands.

This year was the 50th anniversary of the Hungry Caterpillar and author Eric Carle’s 90th birthday!

To celebrate Carle’s amazing books, our Wild Wednesday Workshops this summer holiday will be based around a different one of his nature inspired stories each week.

We’ll read stories about caterpillars, spiders, crickets and more, and then learn more about these fascinating animals through games, crafts and trying to see if we can discover any at Woodberry Wetlands.

Workshops are on Wednesdays (31st July, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th August) in the summer holidays from 1.30pm-3.00pm.

Please arrive just before the start of the workshop so as not to miss any of the session.

Suitable for ages 6-12 years. All ages welcome though the activities are designed for this age group and may not be suitable for younger children. All children must be accompanied throughout the session. Wear clothes for messy play.
