At London Wildlife Trust, we pride ourselves on providing comprehensive, independent advice and high quality technical work to our clients across all sectors. This role will be key in supporting the delivery of the London Wildlife Trust’s consultancy services, supporting the charities vision of a London alive with nature where everyone has access to nature.
You will be a point of contact for external clients and project stakeholders, including within statutory bodies. You will be confident and experienced in managing your own projects and supporting senior staff in delivering ecological advice to a high standard, within allocated timeframes and budgets. You will have an excellent knowledge of UK and EU wildlife legislation in the planning and policy context and have good working knowledge of a range of common and declining species and their habitat requirements.

Salary: £25,811 – 28,909 per annum per annum depending on experience

Our ideal Consultant Ecologist
- Relevant professional degree or experience in ecology, wildlife management and habitat creation.
- Ability to use GIS to produce maps, analyse data and interpret ecological information.
