We offer inspiring hands-on lessons amongst North London's wildlife at the following reserves:
Woodberry Wetlands
Facilities: Accessible toilets, secure cloakroom, indoor classroom, and a cafe.
School visits
Centre-led:
A 90 minute sessions led by the London Wildlife Trust Outdoor Learning team cost £120 (+VAT) per class (maximum 30 children). Sessions are 10.30am-12.00pm or 1.00pm-2.30pm.
At Woodberry Wetlands, schoolchildren can go minibeast hunting, pond dipping, and take part in wildlife habitat walks. Our outdoor learning projects are developed in close dialogue with schools to ensure activities are linked to the national curriculum.

Self-led:
A self-led visit costs £30 (+VAT) per hour per class (maximum 30 children). Pond dipping is not available for self-led visits. Sessions are available between 9.30am-3.30pm.

Forest School sessions for children up to 16 years
Prices: Sessions are two hours long and cost £100 (+VAT) for a maximum of 15 students. Sessions can be booked in a block of six for £550 and are led by a qualified Forest School Level 3 Practitioner.
We can also offer tailor-made sessions to college and university students.
30% discount for centre-led and self-led visits in November, December or January.

Nature Tots Forest School at Woodberry Wetlands
Let your children find their wild side! Join us at Nature Tots for 18 month – 5 year olds. We engage and inspire young people and their carers to connect with nature through hands-on outdoor activities around wildlife.
Walthamstow Wetlands
At Walthamstow Wetlands, schoolchildren can investigate the plants and animals on site, make and follow maps, and take part in adventures.
Facilities: Accessible toilets, an indoor classroom, picnic benches and a café.
Prices: Two-hour sessions led by staff cost £120 (+VAT). Self-led sessions cost £30 (+VAT).
