About the event

A free fun course for families living in Southwark finding out about our garden minibeasts. You will discover where they are living and how to identify them through bush beating, pond dipping and other techniques. You will make your own habitat, play games, make your own minibeasts and enjoy some family time in our lovely wildlife garden and classroom.  Only for families who have not attended one of our Southwark family learning courses this academic year. This is a whole day event aimed at primary aged children but you are welcome to bring older or younger children too.

What to bring

You will need to bring a form of identification such as a passport, driving licence, council tax or utility bill for our Southwark enrolment form. Also come dressed for the weather and bring a packed lunch. We do have an indoor space for wet weather.

We encourage people to come by public transport or using active travel, but if you need it then there is free parking on Saturdays on surrounding streets.
