Keeping it Wild: Young People’s Hub Showcase Event
About the event
Keeping it Wild began in 2018, an ambitious three-year project that aims to empower and inspire 600 young people aged 11-25, from backgrounds currently under-represented in natural heritage, to gain vital skills while discovering, conserving and sharing their experiences of the capital’s wild spaces. As the project draws to a close, the project team and Young People’s Forum have been working on the creation of a digital toolkit to continue to inspire and inform young people wanting to find out more about conservation. This will take the form of a dynamic online hub where young people can find careers advice, inspiration and wellbeing exercises centred around wildlife conservation.
For this event, join the team and young people who helped to create the resource, as they showcase the diverse range of valuable content available on the new hub. This includes a how-to guide on Forest Bathing in London, CV and job-hunting advice and tips on how to run a social action project.
It's set to be a fun and interactive evening - don't miss it! The event is open to all.
This event will be delivered online via Zoom. Please contact us at email@example.com if you need any help accessing Zoom or you if have any other questions.
