Donate in memory of a loved one

Their memory will live on in London's wildlife
£

Thank you for thinking of London Wildlife Trust at this difficult time. Your donation will help protect London’s wildlife and wild places, now and in the future.

A donation in memory of a loved one is a lasting and meaningful way to celebrate and commemorate their life. It can help you honour somebody special and remember the time that you spent together.

When you see a butterfly over a wildflower meadow, hear the calls of birds in spring, or wander through woodlands, you will think of them and know your gift has helped the rich variety of London’s wildlife to thrive.

There are several ways you can donate in memory. To give, click the donate button below. Please let us know the name of the person you are remembering in the comments box so that we know who it is in memory of. Thank you for choosing us to help honour their memory by protecting London’s wildlife.

Dedicate a wildlife plaque to a loved one

A wildlife plaque is a wonderful way to celebrate the life of a loved one with a lasting dedication at a nature reserve.

We cannot put up plaques at all of our nature reserves, but you can currently dedicate a plaque at Camley Street Natural Park, and soon at Woodberry Wetlands.

All plaques are designed in the shape of species found at the reserves to celebrate the diversity of wildlife found in London. They are handmade and engraved to order and come in either brass or stainless steel.

In memory collections

Friends and family sometimes hold collections at a funeral or memorial service to give a gift to charity. We are so grateful to those who choose to do this.

Funeral directors can arrange a collection for you and send on the donations. If you’d prefer to organise this yourself then you can donate in one of the ways above, or create a JustGiving page for the collection.

Create a JustGiving in memory page

You can set up your own online memorial page for your loved one, to share memories and stories with friends and family, and collect donations for charity. If you would like to collect donations for London Wildlife Trust, you can set up a free fundraising page with JustGiving.
