About the event

Join us for a relaxing and festive session where you can create a wreath for your home or as a gift for a loved one.

Using botanical materials that connect us with the natural world during the colder months, this is a chance to get in touch with your creative side in the heart of Walthamstow Wetlands.

Incorporating native plants like willow, holly, and old man's beard, your wreath will be a beautiful celebration of winter wildlife.

We will provide: all the natural materials needed to make your wreath, including the willow frame. As well as natural dressings such as ribbon, orange slices, and cinnamon sticks.

You are welcome to bring: other decorations such as baubles or ornaments.

Sessions will last for 2.5 hours, and refreshments will be available to purchase at our Engine House Café.

This event is aimed at adults aged 18+, but can be inclusive for young people aged 11 and above, who must be accompanied by an adult.

Further information will be sent prior to the event.

All proceeds from this event are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s wider nature recovery work across London.
