About the event
Find the answers to these questions and many more on a guided winter walk around Woodberry Wetlands, led by our experienced, friendly guides. This season is a great time to see a variety of waterfowl as many birds migrate to the UK for the winter. Look out for tufted ducks, shovelers, pochards, great crested grebes, and mute swans, as well as many other species.
This is a gentle walk around the reserve on paths and there may be some slight inclines. Strong stout footwear is recommended. The walk will last approximately 1 hour and will be fully outdoors, so dress for the weather! Please bring some water and if you have binoculars do bring them, but it’s not essential.
Meeting point: The Coal House Café (under the marquee).
Please note: Thames Water are currently carrying out essential maintenance on the East Reservoir. As a result, the gravel path between The Coal House Café and the northern entrance will be closed until February 2026.
