About the event

A free fun course for families living in Southwark finding out about our garden birds. Suitable for primary aged children but you are welcome to bring along your older or younger ones too. Learn to identify birds through sight and sound. Play games, make nests and help the birds to survive in the spring on the first day. Find out about eggs and paint your own on the second day. Only for families who have not attended one of our Southwark family learning courses this academic year. This is not a drop in event and can be booked as a single day or for both Monday and Tuesday.

What to bring

You will need to bring a form of identification such as a passport, driving licence, council tax or utility bill and your National Insurance number for our Southwark enrolment form. Also come dressed for the weather and bring a packed lunch. We do have an indoor space for wet weather.

Parking information

We encourage people to come by public transport or using active travel, but if you need it then there is free parking on Saturdays on surrounding streets.
