Erith, Crayford & Dartford Marshes

The Erith, Crayford and Dartford Marshes were part of an extensive network of grazing marsh that stretched over much of south east London and northern Kent; they now comprise some of the last remaining land of this type.

The Trust has been involved in the development of the Managing the Marshes project, led by the London Borough of Bexley, with a particular focus on water vole conservation.
The area supports one of the strongest - but still vulnerable - populations of water vole in London.
