Wildlife Gardener's Day at the London Wetland Centre

The Wildlife Gardening Forum, in partnership with the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust has organised a whole day of talks, workshops and guided walks at the beautiful London Wetland Centre. There will be plenty of interest for wildlife gardeners of all levels of experience, and the registration cost is just £30.

Sylvia Myers from London Wildlife Trust's Centre for Wildlife Gardening (pictured) will be there speaking about garden design for children and wildlife.

Speakers in open sessions include authors and broadcasters Professor Chris Baines, Kate Bradbury and Adrian Thomas, with Peter Massini of the GLA and Paul de Zylva of the LNPCF, describing how the new London National Park City initiative will work with Wildlife Gardeners. Another fourteen experts are lined up to provide specialist talks, guided walks and workshops giving practical tips on many aspects of garden wildlife from biological recording, to gardening for bumblebees, butterflies and earthworms!. There will also be a Wildlife Gardeners' Fair outside, with 20 stalls run by wildflower plant nurseries, equipment suppliers and wildlife gardening organisations.

There are a limited number of places so visit the website at www.wlgf.org/next_conference to see the full programme and make your reservation NOW!
