About the event

What makes Woodberry Wetlands so special, locally and internationally? What wildlife can be found around the reserve? What is the history of Woodberry Wetlands?

Enjoy the splendid Summer energy and come and find the answers to these questions and many more about Woodberry Wetlands on a guided walk around the reserve, led by our experienced, friendly guides. It is a great time to see a variety of waterfowl as many of them have had babies! Look out for Coots, Great Crested Grebes, Moorhens and Mute Swans as well as many other species of wildlife.

This is a gentle walk around the reserve on paths - there may be some gentle inclines, strong stout footwear recommended. The walk will last approximately 1 hour and will be fully outdoors - so dress for the weather! Please bring some water and if you have binoculars do bring them, but it’s not essential.

Meeting point - The Coal House Café under the marquee.
