About the event

Join us on a free, beginners-friendly walk to explore the names and characteristics of trees while also discussing the deep-rooted connection humans historically had with them. 🌲🌳🌴Led by our Keeping it Wild trainees Edie and Aanchal!

Throughout various cultures and time periods, trees were seen as sacred beings, filled with stories and wisdom. Through observation, conversation and reflection we can re-establish this connection and rediscover the importance trees have in our everyday life!

We will be making our own easy, DIY booklets using traditional Japanese stab binding techniques and leaf rubbings to create tree guides to take these home and explore the trees in your neighbourhood

Discover Gunnersbury Triangle and meet other young nature lovers - you don't need to be an expert to join, just be ready to learn and explore! ⭐🌿

We will walk at a leisurely pace with plenty of breaks, including a lunch break where we'll provide snacks and drinks.

There are porta-loos onsite, but no accessible toilet.
