About the event

Join us at Camley Street and challenge yourself to tell plants apart in the winter through hands on games and scavenger hunts - finish with birch twig tea. 

The workshop costs £10 per family. We do not want the cost to be a barrier to accessing this event, if it is not affordable for you, please email learning@wildlondon.org.uk for a place.

Meet at the Education room at the back of the Visitor Centre.

The session will be led by a member of our Learning & Engagement team.

Aimed at 6- 12 year olds but younger siblings welcomed. All children must be accompanied throughout the session by a responsible adult.

Donations are welcome. All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.

Dogs

Assistance dogs only

Please be advised that trained assistance dogs on duty are welcome, but in order to protect the sensitive habitat and drinking water supply, we cannot allow other dogs or pets of any kind on-site, as the wildlife may become distressed.

Mobility

The Education room, main concrete pathway through the site and path to the pond-dipping platform are accessible for wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties.

As a nature reserve the pathways around the reserve site are woodchip so may be uneven or muddy in places, there are some steps and steep terrain.

There is an accessible toilet and café on site.
