Rivers Week: History & Ecology of Camley Street Natural Park
Camley Street Natural Park,
12 Camley Street, London, N1C 4PWAbout the event
We're celebrating Rivers Week 2026 with a guided walk around Camley Street Natural Park led by our experienced, friendly staff.
Sandwiched between the major transport hub of King's Cross St. Pancras and the historic Regent's Canal, Camley Street is an urban oasis that shows how important London's waterways are to both people and wildlife.
On this tour you'll discover the fascinating history of this reserve and see some of the wildlife that calls it home.
This is a gentle walk around the reserve on paths and there may be some gentle inclines. Strong stout footwear is recommended.
The walk will last approximately 45 minutes and will be fully outdoors, so dress for the weather! Please bring some water and binoculars if you have them.
London Rivers Week is a week-long annual campaign inspiring the public to celebrate all of London’s rivers and the many projects taking place to protect them.
The 2026 festival will highlight a decade of river restoration successes and showcase the achievements of the communities who have helped us to protect London’s rivers.
Meeting point: Kingfisher Café (under the marquee).
