About the event

Find the answers to these questions and more on a guided walk around Camley Street Natural Park led by our experienced, friendly staff.

Camley Street is an urban oasis that was saved from development and now acts as a haven for both people and wildlife. Discover its fascinating history and experience some of the wildlife that calls the site home.

This is a gentle walk around the reserve on paths and there may be some gentle inclines. Strong stout footwear is recommended.

The walk will last approximately 45 minutes and will be fully outdoors, so dress for the weather! Please bring some water and binoculars if you have them.

Mobility

The area around the new visitor centre and main path down to the pond have accessible surfaces, whilst other footpaths around the site are surfaced in woodchip. Part of the walkway around the reserve has steps and hills.

The outdoor-seating café is fully accessible, including an accessible toilet. 

The reserve has one entrance/exit onto a busy main road. There is a walkway around the canal pond, partly without any railing.

Wheelchair access

The visitor centre is wheelchair accessible, though some of the woodchip path may be unsuitable for wheelchairs. One part of the reserve is only accessible via steps. If you would like more information, please contact us at engagment@wildlondon.org.uk.
