Join us for a woodland walk exploring the fantastical world of fungi!

With 15,000 species in the UK alone, fungi are a fascinating and varied realm! From tiny microscopic yeasts and moulds to those that produce huge fruiting bodies, such the Giant Puffball, they come in a wide variety of colours, forms, and sizes. Delve into the unseen world of fungi underground and within decaying wood by learning about the hidden networks of mycelium and the relationships they form with trees.

The walk will be led by Zak, one of our former Keeping it Wild trainees, local Nature Communicator and all-round Nature appreciator. Together you'll explore the fantastic fungi of both Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood.
