Cyanotype Workshop
Walthamstow Wetlands,
Walthamstow Wetlands, 2 Forest Road , Walthamstow, London, N17 9NH
About the event
Developed in the 1840s, cyanotype is a photographic process that uses UV light to create striking blue-and-white prints. By arranging plants onto light-sensitive paper, you’ll craft your own unique botanical artworks to take home, turn into cards, or give as handmade gifts.
During this two hour workshop, you will learn about the ecology of these plants, how to identify them, and have a chance to explore the wetlands.
About your tutor
Connor the Ecologist is a London-based entomologist and educator on a mission to make people notice and appreciate the smaller details in nature. Over 4,000 have joined his urban nature walks and printing courses to date.
