About the event

See the video and article of one of our Bioblitz' by Amelie Claydon here.

This Bioblitz is part of the City Nature Challenge (CNC)! CNC is a global initiative that aims to encourage participants to record as much wildlife as possible over 4 days at the end of April each year, using the iNaturalist app. Over 480 cities worldwide have participated in this challenge, including over 20 from the UK.

A Bioblitz is a communal effort to record as many species within a designated location and time period as possible. Using the iNaturalist app, Tom will guide you around Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood where you will be learning to identify your observations while contributing to the database of species living within the woodland. This walk will focus on the underappreciated flowers of woods. As the brighter blossoms take centre stage this spring, join the search for the more elusive, less flamboyant, but equally beautiful flowers above and below.
