Championing Nature - Butterfly Bonanza at Woodberry Wetlands
Woodberry Wetlands,
Woodberry Wetlands, Main Entrance via New River Path Lordship Road, London, N16 5HQ
About the event
Join us for a free, activity-filled family fun day learning all about butterflies at Woodberry Wetlands.
Join us on the lawn by the Coal House Cafe for our "Butterfly Bonanza" on Sunday 12th July, where we'll be learning about the butterflies found at Woodberry Wetlands.
This family fun day will include guided butterfly walks, dance workshops focussing on butterfly lifecycles with our friends Wee Movers, making butterfly feeders and other crafts, themed storytime, face-painting, guided butterfly walks from Brimstones, games and more!
Everyone is welcome but the majority of the activities at this event are aimed at children of all ages and their parents and carers. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. However, the guided walks are for people of all ages, and there is plenty to enjoy at the nature reserve.
You can book online via Eventbrite or drop in on the day.
This is a free event, but donations are welcome. All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s nature recovery and education work and the care of its nature reserves.
