About the event

Wind down after a busy day in the city by exploring the newly redesigned and centrally located Grosvenor Square, taking inspiration from the natural space to create lino prints.

How do you recreate the unusual shape of a fallen autumn leaf, crinkled and folded? How do you emulate the gentle curves of an acorn resting on the earth? In this workshop, we will practise noticing the patterns, textures, and hidden worlds encapsulated in nature.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced printmaker, you'll be guided through the process of creating a lino print. Try carving your experience of nature into lino, then burst into a world of play as you experiment with inks, textures, and compositions.

This will be a relaxed workshop where we create nature-inspired prints, where we will explore both traditional linocut printing and printmaking using foraged materials.
