52 Grosvenor Square

Event details
About the event
Using a fascinating range of materials, from fallen leaves, acorn galls and fern fronds gathered from Grosvenor Square to unexpected objects such as fruit, vegetables, lace and baking paper, you'll experiment with creating beautiful blue-and-white sun prints. Layer, arrange and explore different forms as you reconnect with the simple wonder of observing the world through a child's eyes.
No experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. Your cyanotype paper will be prepared and ready to use on the day, allowing you to focus on creativity and experimentation.
And don't worry if the British weather isn't on our side. If the sun stays hidden, we'll harness the power of UV lamps to develop your prints indoors.
Come away with a collection of unique artworks and a fresh appreciation for the beauty hidden in everyday natural objects.
