About the event

By building your own mini world, you will explore how an enclosed system sustains itself, recycles its own nutrients, and gain a better understanding of our own ecosystems alongside the importance that plants, fungi and invertebrates play in it.

We will then have a short walk around Grosvenor Square, searching for natural materials we can use as decorations in our terrariums, in addition to the provided materials.

If you have an empty, airtight jar, this is the perfect opportunity to bring it along and make something magical out of it. But jars and all other materials are provided regardless.

This event is aimed at adults aged 18+, but can be inclusive for young people aged 11 and above, who must be accompanied by an adult and have a ticket of their own.

All proceeds from this event enable London Wildlife Trust's mission of nature recovery for a thriving city.
