About the event
The session will be on Tuesday 26th October. It will take place in our outdoor classroom and in the forest school copse as well as nature walks and adventures around site.
Children will learn how to safely use tools, make shelters, light a fire, cook on a campfire, arts and crafts, identify different animals, plants and trees, bushcraft skills, and eat lunch amongst the woodland wildlife.
They'll also learn how to make a fire, cook lots of delicious healthy foods for lunch, new skills, how to make tools, build a den, forage for different plants, build homes and feeders to help out out local wildlife and lots more.
This is a full day forest school starting at 10am and finishing at 2.30pm, lunch and snacks are provided as we will be cooking on our campfire. These are unaccompanied sessions.
There will be a maximum of 12 children per session and a minimum of three adults; two trained London Wildlife Trust staff and at least one of our wonderful volunteers.
