Woodland Festival: Storytelling - The Forest Of Stories
Sydenham Hill Wood and Cox's Walk,
Crescent Wood Road, Sydenham Hill, SE26 6LSEvent details
About the event
As part of the 'Reuniting Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood' project, you’re invited to our annual Woodland Festival - a day to leaf your worries behind and celebrate these much-loved woods, their wildlife, and the local community that helps them thrive. There’ll be tree-mendous live music, walks, crafty activities, buzzing stalls and plenty of art to branch out into. Whether you’re here to soak up the forest vibes, discover hidden wildlife, or just enjoy a day out under the canopy, there’s something for everyone.
Come along and let’s make it an un-be-leaf-able day in the woods together! 🌳✨
Rabbit is laughing up there in the treetops. Fox Nurse holds out a pair of golden scissors. Crow is making a right old racket. The forest is alive with stories for all ages – Rabbit In The Moon, Golden Hair, Crow and Nightingale – who knows who will slip out from between the treetrunks and into your dreams?
Come and hear stories of forests and forest magic– expect high adventure, low cunning, and a wild pig with very dodgy taste in music. Story Jam’s Alys Torrance rustles up a flurry of folktales from around the world in an wild and enchanting storytelling session.
