About the event

With 15,000 species in the UK alone, fungi are a fascinating and varied realm! From tiny microscopic yeasts and moulds to those that produce huge fruiting bodies, such the Giant Puffball, they come in a wide variety of colours, forms, and sizes.

Join Sam, our Senior Nature Recovery Officer, as we learn about the fantastic fungi in our ecosystems, and how to identify them.

The delivery of the 'Reuniting Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood' project is made possible by our funders and partners: The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Dulwich Estate, Southwark Council, The Kusuma Trust, Black Girls Hike, and Wanderers of Colour. This funding and these partnerships help to secure the future of the woods by bringing together the management of Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood under London Wildlife Trust.
