Due to the geography of the site, there is currently no wheelchair access at Sydenham Hill Woods. Fully wheelchair accessible sessions are also run at nearby Centre for Wildlife Gardening in East Dulwich. If you have any questions or would like to establish whether this site is accessible for your child, please get in touch with us at learning@wildlondon.org.uk.

This session will be led by Moa (she/her) from our Learning & Engagement Team.

Booking required, please book a free place via Eventbrite. One ticket per family of up to 3 children.

Sessions are aimed at children of all ages and parents/carers together. There will be one member of staff present at the session. All children must be accompanied throughout the session by a responsible adult.

Mobility

Gates prohibit access by wheelchair users. Footpaths are uneven and there are many steps because of the Wood’s inclines. The Green Chain Walk goes through SHW and Cox’s Walk. Numbered fingerposts denote points of the nature trail. Benches are placed around the reserve. Street parking is available in Crescent Wood Road. The nearest Changes Places Toilet is located in Dulwich Park.
