About the event
Join us to explore different habitats and discover the nature we might find at Woodberry Wetlands during the Autumn months.
Woodlice, spiders, worms and toads are just a selection of the amazing animals that you might find, as well as fungi and bountiful hedgerows of rosehips, nuts and berries. Activities will include using nets to look at animals found in the pond and looking under logs to see what minibeasts we can find.
Meet by the Education Ponds (the opposite side of the reservoir to the Coal House cafe) by the New River Studio at the East Gate.
The session will be led by a member of our Learning & Engagement team. No need to book, just drop in on the day.
Sessions are aimed at children of all ages and parents/carers together. All children must be accompanied throughout the session by a responsible adult.
This is a free event, but donations are welcome. All profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.
