About the event

Join us for a night time bat walk at Dulwich Woods, an ancient fragment of the Great North Wood.

We'll be using electronic detectors to listen for the bats' ultrasonic calls and to learn about how these fascinating mammals travel through the woodland.

This walk is led by Rianna Badesha, Engagement Officer for Dulwich Woods.

Meet for the walk at Sydenham Hill train station car park. Please dress appropriately for the weather and note, the wood has many uneven surfaces, so stout footwear is recommended. This walk is for adults and children aged 11+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This is a free event but donations are welcome, with all profits are invested into London Wildlife Trust’s conservation and education work and the care of its nature reserves.

If you have any questions please contact Sophie at learning@wildlondon.org.uk

This event is supported by the Dulwich Estate.
